Mobile App
Today C-News has no mobile app in any store, but you can add the website to your home screen.
Last updated 2026-10-05
Today C-News does not currently have a mobile app. There is no app in the Apple App Store, Google Play or any other store. If you see a listing that uses our name, treat it as unofficial and do not install it on our behalf.
Current status
- No iOS app has been released.
- No Android app has been released.
- No beta, waitlist or pre-registration exists.
- No release date has been announced.
We do not promise that apps will arrive. If we decide to build them, we will say so here first.
Use the website on your phone
The site is designed to work in a mobile browser. Pages resize to fit smaller screens, and you can switch between light and dark appearance. Saved articles and your theme choice stay in your browser's localStorage on that device.
Add to home screen
A shortcut on your home screen gives quick access without an app. The exact wording varies by device and browser.
On iPhone or iPad
- Open the site in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then confirm the name.
On Android
- Open the site in Chrome or another browser.
- Open the browser menu.
- Choose Add to Home screen, or Install if the option appears, and confirm.
The shortcut simply opens the website. It does not install software, request extra permissions or send us any data.
Notifications and accounts
Because the site is static and has no accounts, we cannot send push notifications. If you want updates, you have two practical options. The RSS feed at /rss.xml works in any feed reader. The Morning Espresso newsletter is planned for 7:00 AM ET on weekdays but is not sending yet, and the sign-up on the site opens an email draft to [email protected].
Privacy on mobile
Using the site on a phone involves the same third-party requests as on a desktop: Google Fonts, the Tailwind CDN and images from googleusercontent.com. See the Privacy Policy and Cookies & Local Storage pages.
