About Today C-News

Today C-News is an English-language news site with a simple tagline: Commerce, Crypto, Tech. We are a new publication, and we would rather be clear about what that means than pretend to be something larger. This page explains what we cover, what exists today, and what does not exist yet.

What we cover

Our coverage is organised around five areas that increasingly overlap in everyday life and business:

• Digital commerce: online retail, marketplaces, payments flows, logistics and the habits of shoppers.
• Crypto markets: how digital assets, exchanges and related infrastructure work, explained for general readers.
• AI and technology: the products, platforms and policy questions shaping software and hardware.
• Fintech: the technology behind banking, lending, payments and personal finance tools.
• The green economy: clean energy, climate-related business models and sustainability in commerce.

Launch edition

The stories currently on the site are labelled "Launch edition". They are explainers that use illustrative composite examples rather than reports on named real people or companies. A composite example is a constructed scenario designed to show how something works; it is not a claim that a specific event happened. Bylines on launch stories are desk bylines, and we do not publish biographies for them.

What is available now

• A written Daily Briefing that summarises the main themes of the day.
• Section pages for each coverage area.
• An RSS feed, available at /rss.xml, for readers who prefer a feed reader.
• The Morning Espresso email newsletter, which is planned for 7:00 AM ET on weekdays. It is not sending yet. The sign-up on the site records your interest in your own browser and opens a draft email to our general address.

What is not available yet

We have not launched an audio edition, mobile apps, a market terminal, in-person events or developer APIs. Pages on this site describe each of these honestly so you are never left guessing. We will update those pages when something changes.

How the site works

Today C-News is a static website. There are no accounts, no login, no comments and no payments. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and the site shows no live market data. Saved articles and your light or dark theme choice stay in your browser.
