Final Traces of Harry & Meghan to Be ERASED Forever: $2.8M Frogmore Cottage Makeover Brutally Reversed 3 Years After Explosive Eviction!

Frogmore Cottage is reportedly expected to undergo renovations to remove Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s modifications, three years after the couple was evicted from the property.

“It’s been empty for three years. Even Andrew thought it wasn’t good enough for him to move in,” a source told The Sun in a report published Wednesday.

“Maybe if they get rid of any trace of Harry and Meghan, then someone within the royal household will fancy it,” the insider continued.

“It would draw the line under Frogmore Cottage’s controversial history and return it to the pre-Meghan and Harry era.”

A representative for Buckingham Palace did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The property was given to the couple as a wedding gift by Queen Elizabeth II in 2018. Harry and Meghan quickly began renovating the cottage, with the work costing a reported $2.8 million.

The pair transformed the original two detached houses into one larger family home.

However, after stepping down as working royals in 2020, they were asked to vacate the premises by Harry’s father, King Charles III, in 2023 — around the same time Harry released his memoir, “Spare.” Frogmore Cottage is owned by the Crown Estate.

The couple ultimately paid a total of $3.3 million to the royal family to cover rent and the renovation costs upon their departure.

“The payment covers all their current obligations,” Sir Michael Stevens, Keeper of the Privy Purse, confirmed to People in March 2023. “We are confident that it represents a good outcome.”

Stevens added, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a substantial contribution to the Sovereign Grant that covered the refurbishment costs of Frogmore Cottage.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since settled in a $14 million mansion in Montecito, California.

While the couple has kept most details of their home private, it has been reported that the estate includes a pool, tennis court, tea house, rose garden, olive trees, a two-bedroom guest house, and a children’s cottage.

In 2021, Meghan shared a first glimpse of their home office in a promotional video for her 40×40 initiative. The workspace featured a $1,699 hand-crafted pine wood Pottery Barn dining table used as a desk, ivory chairs, a $1,800 cashmere Hermès blanket, and carefully selected coffee table books.

The couple’s work-from-home room also appeared in Harry’s Netflix documentary “Heart of Invictus,” which showed a stunning stone fireplace, a tan woven rug, and plenty of natural light streaming in through round-top French doors.
