BEAUTY IN BLACK Season 4: Kimmie Reaches a New Peak of Power as Her Unexpected Alliance With Mallory Threatens to Tear the Bellarie Empire Apart

The battle for control of the Bellarie empire is far from over. After the explosive events of Season 3, Beauty in Black is heading into Season 4 with Kimmie standing in a dramatically different position from where she began her journey.
Netflix officially renewed Tyler Perry’s drama for a fourth season in July 2026, reversing its earlier plan for Season 3 to serve as the series finale. However, the streaming platform has yet to announce a specific release date.
Kimmie’s transformation remains one of the most important developments heading into the new chapter. Once struggling simply to survive, she has gradually fought her way into the center of the Bellarie power structure. But reaching the top has not made her safer. Instead, it has placed a much bigger target on her back.
Her complicated alliance with Mallory could become one of the defining forces of Season 4. The two women have not always been natural allies, and their history is filled with distrust, manipulation and competing interests. Yet circumstances have repeatedly pushed them toward cooperation. Netflix previously established that Kimmie and Mallory were forced into an uneasy alliance as they attempted to navigate the Bellarie family’s increasingly dangerous power struggle.
That relationship could now determine who controls what remains of the Bellarie empire.
The biggest question is whether their partnership is based on genuine loyalty or simply mutual necessity. Both women understand that the family is filled with people willing to betray one another when their own survival or influence is at stake. Their alliance therefore carries enormous potential — but also an obvious weakness. If either woman decides that she can gain more by turning against the other, the balance of power could collapse almost instantly.
Meanwhile, Jules enters the next chapter with an entirely different motivation: revenge.
His son Glen’s death became a major turning point in the story. After Glen succumbed to his injuries, Jules began unraveling and searching for answers about what happened to his son. Season 3 then pushed Jules into an increasingly dangerous role, culminating in violent attacks and a confrontation that left several characters’ futures uncertain.
That makes Jules one of the most dangerous threats facing Kimmie and those around her.
Season 3 ended with a chaotic shootout at Make It Rain, leaving the fate of several major characters uncertain. Kimmie, Mallory and Rain were among those whose survival remained unresolved, while other characters also faced potentially fatal consequences.
Season 4 therefore has the opportunity to completely reshape the Bellarie hierarchy.
Kimmie may have finally reached the position she once could only dream about. But with Jules driven by revenge, old enemies still lurking and alliances constantly shifting, holding onto that power could prove far more difficult than obtaining it.
For Kimmie, the next battle may no longer be about becoming powerful.
It may be about surviving long enough to remain at the top.
