Mike Tindall Just Exposed Kate Middleton’s Favorite Party Game — And It’s Surprisingly Sophisticated!”

Leave it to Kate Middleton to give beer pong the royal treatment.

Fellow royal Mike Tindall has revealed that the popular drinking game is one of the Princess of Wales’s favorites — though she gives it a classy twist by swapping beer for prosecco.

“I knew that the Princess of Wales was uber competitive because I’d seen her play a drinking game called beer pong, but normally we play prosecco pong! She still plays it with us,” Mike Tindall, who is married to Prince William’s cousin Zara Tindall, said in a new interview with Woman & Home.

“Sport is rife throughout the family – everyone is competitive,” he added.

Mike had previously teased Middleton about her love of the game during a 2023 episode of his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.

“I’m not going to say you’re uber competitive,” he said, before pausing with a knowing nod.

“I’m not competitive at all,” Middleton replied coyly.

“I’ve seen her play beer pong!” Mike quipped.

While the princess still enjoys an occasional game of prosecco pong, she has significantly cut back on alcohol since her cancer diagnosis.

During a visit to the Southwark Brewing Company in London in March, Middleton shared, “Since my diagnosis, I haven’t had much alcohol. It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now.”

After publicly announcing her diagnosis in March 2024, the 44-year-old princess completed chemotherapy and was able to return to many of her normal activities by November, including regular gym sessions.

In January 2025, she announced she was in remission.

Last week, Prince William gave an emotional update on his wife’s recovery following her solo trip to Italy.

“I’m so proud — incredibly proud,” the Prince of Wales told Heart Breakfast hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden. “She’s been amazing.”

“She’s been through so much in the last couple of years, particularly. And yeah, she’d been looking forward to the Italian trip a lot… I’m really glad it went really well.”

William also praised her role within the family: “She’s an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and, literally, our family couldn’t cope without her. She’s been absolutely stunning, brilliant.”
