❤️ Prince William just got emotional sharing the latest on Kate Middleton’s cancer recovery… and what he said will melt your heart!

Prince William gave an emotional update on Kate Middleton’s recovery from cancer following her recent solo trip to Italy.
“I’m so proud — incredibly proud,” the Prince of Wales said warmly about his wife during an interview with Heart Breakfast hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden while visiting the Isles of Scilly on Friday.
“She’s been amazing,” he added. The Princess of Wales made her first overseas trip since her cancer diagnosis earlier this month, visiting the Italian city of Reggio Emilia.
“She’s been through so much in the last couple of years, particularly. And yeah, she’d been looking forward to the Italian trip a lot. And so I’m really glad it went really well.”
William, 43, explained that Kate, 44, had done “lots of research” for the trip, which focused on early childhood education and child development.
“She spends, God knows how much time now, looking through all the paperwork,” he said. “She’s a proper pro on early years. Most evenings I’m fighting to get past in the bedroom what paperwork she’s got lined up, ready to read.”
William noted that the trip “went well for her” and that she “came back buzzing,” although he acknowledged that such away trips “can take a lot out of you.”
“So we have to balance that, make sure she’s okay and rested, but she’s in good form,” he said.

He also spoke glowingly about Kate’s role within the family.
“She’s an amazing mum, an amazing wife, and, literally, our family couldn’t cope without her. So she’s been absolutely stunning, brilliant,” he said.
Middleton revealed in March 2024 that she was undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, just one month after King Charles III announced his own cancer diagnosis. In September 2024, she confirmed that she had completed her treatment, and four months later, the princess shared that she was in remission.
Royal photographer Chris Jackson previously revealed that Kate and King Charles supported each other during their battles with the disease.
“I think you can’t avoid what’s happened with the cancer, with the King and Catherine,” Jackson said. “I talk a lot about the adversity that the royal family faced over the last few years, and you really couldn’t have made it up, [them] basically having cancer at the same time.”
The Getty Images photographer added that both the monarch and his daughter-in-law have returned to their royal responsibilities stronger than ever.
“To see the bounce back has been amazing,” Jackson said. “And that has generated a huge amount of goodwill and positivity.”
