A prominent celebrity recently shared their two cents on who Taylor Swift should date and social media is reacting to it.

Oliva Wilde seemingly bashed Taylor Swift’s new romance with Travis Kelce. The “Don’t Worry Darling” director is taking major heat for throwing shade at the pair’s blossoming relationship via her Instagram Story, sharing a tweet that reads: “I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist.”

“I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist,” the tweet read.

Swifties were not amused by the take and rushed to social media to defend their hero. They even went as far as to bring up Olivia’s relationship with Harry Style whom she dated for almost two years, and also happens to be Taylor’s ex.

“She wasn’t worried about climate change when she was flying across the country to go chase Harry,” wrote a user.

As for her actual relationship with Travis Kelce, the duo were first linked in July after Kelce lamented how he wasn’t able to meet Swift following her Eras Tour show in Kansas City. After extending an invitation to the artist to catch one of his games, Swift caused a frenzy when she sat next to Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, at the Chiefs vs. Bears game.

She then showed up the following week at MetLife Stadium. Their budding relationship seems to be growing at a rapid pace.
