Meghan Markle sets two conditions for reconciliation with William and Kate

Meghan Markle is reportedly keen to mend fences with the Royal Family but has made it clear she has two conditions that must be met before she can consider any kind of reconciliation.

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has set out her terms before she and Prince Harry even entertain the thought of patching things up with his elder brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton.

Attempts have been made by William and Kate to mend fences with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, yet relations continue to be fraught following the Sussexes’ step back from their royal roles.

Royal author Tom Quinn suggests that while the Cambridges are keen on reconciliation, Meghan is holding back until her prerequisites are fulfilled.

Tom Quinn, in a chat with the Mirror, let slip: “Harry would like a reconciliation but supports his wife completely and until she feels that the Royal family have been sufficiently nice to her – and grovelingly apologized for the past – it’s not going to happen.”

Since leaving their official duties, Harry and Meghan have lobbed various bombshell claims at the Royal establishment in notorious interviews and their explosive Netflix documentary, ‘Harry and Meghan’, reports the Daily Record.

Meghan is holding back until her prerequisites are fulfilled, an expert claimed

Quinn, who keeps a close eye on royal affairs, speculates that Meghan may be putting up roadblocks to Harry initiating peace talks with the Prince and Princess of Wales and is withholding an “olive branch” possibly due to Kate’s cancer scare.

Mr Quinn commented: “There has been a shift here since Kate’s illness Harry and Meghan do feel they need to extend an olive branch, but Meghan’s sense of grievance is still preventing anything really meaningful happening.”

“Illness often brings warring family members together, and there have been hopes at Kensington Palace that Kate’s illness might do it. The Royal author suggests William and Kate have made overtures to mend fences with the Sussexes, inviting Meghan and Harry to bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK for a visit – yet Meghan has declined.”

He further stated: “There is no way Meghan would bring the children to the UK.”

He went on: “William and Kate have proposed that Meghan and Harry bring the children and that both couples and their families attempt reconciliation, but so far the suggestion hasn’t led to any progress.”

The dynamic between Meghan and Harry and William and Kate has been strained following the Sussexes’ candid revelations about royal life in their Netflix documentary series and their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

In his tell-all book Spare, Harry levels several allegations against his brother and sister-in-law. He recounts a fierce dispute with William, claiming the Prince of Wales labeled Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.

Harry also alleges that during this confrontation, William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor”.
