50 Cent has teased a “big collaboration” with Tyler Perry after receiving lofty praise from the one-man movie empire.
Perry was signing autographs in New York City on Tuesday (July 9) when TMZ asked him about his thoughts on the G-Unit mogul.
The Madea creator said: “I’m so proud of that man. He’s amazing and he’s blowing it up out of the water. I’m super, super proud of him.”
When Perry was asked if the future held any collaborations between the two of them, he replied: “If he wants to. I love that dude.”
Fif all but confirmed plans for a project between him and Perry when posting the video clip on his Instagram page.
“BIG collaboration coming soon sprinkle a little Tyler, sprinkle a little 50 and [bomb emoji] BOOM [wind emoji] you can’t beat it! HISTORY IN THE MAKING,” he wrote in his caption.
It was just last month that 50 Cent found a somewhat unexpected mentor in Tyler Perry after the actor and director invited him to his studio in Atlanta.
50 shared pictures of his visit to the studio complex on Instagram, where he was greeted by a sign that read: “Tyler Perry Studios welcomes 50 Cent & G-Unit.”
The media moguls also posed for a photo together.
In his caption, 50 reflected on the trip and credited Perry with sharing advice that left him feeling “inspired.”
“I’m leaving no room for error Tyler showed me some shit today that inspired me,” he wrote. “I need all my money if you owe me, you better give me mine now!”
The Power producer previously defended Tyler Perry after he was negatively compared to the filmmaker after setting up his own studio complex in Shreveport, Louisana.

In April, Fif took issue with a social media post that said: “Dude lowkey becoming the male Tyler Perry it’s crazy to see.”
He hit back with: “LOL. Yall better stop playing, Tyler will fuck yall up he ain’t no sucker. Don’t get it fucked up now !”
Back in May, 50 gave fans a first glimpse at his sprawling G-Unit Film and TV Studios, sharing various artist impressions of the space which he is hoping to turn into a powerhouse of film and TV production.
The state-of-the-art studio features a prominent black-and-white marble theme along with G-Unit branding throughout.
It also boasts boardrooms, offices, editing suites and a hair and makeup room featuring around a dozen chairs with their own illuminated mirror.
“Sneak peek at the insides of G-Unit Studios, shh I’m working,” 50 captioned the images on Instagram. “All roads lead to Shreveport August 8th till the 11th hold the date TYCOON X 10 BOOM.”
