The end! Travis Kelce declares he will never use X, calling it a “rotten and garbage social media platform” after Elon Musk’s insults toward Taylor Swift

Who had “Ed Kelce gets banned from X” on their bingo card?

The father of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed over the weekend he is now persona non grata on Elon Musk’s’ social media platform — formerly (and forever) known as Twitter.

He suggested the ban might have stemmed from something he didn’t even write, because the platform run by the Tesla founder “isn’t all that secure.”

Yeah, he’s angry about this.

Kelce criticized X for being unfair in a Facebook post Saturday.

He shared a Newsmax story about a report from The Times in London claiming that arms dealers in Yemen are openly selling assault rifles, pistols, grenade-launchers and other weapons on X.

Some of the arms dealers have those blue check marks of verification, the London newspaper reported.

“Arms dealers are free to peddle their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why, just a generic ‘Terms Of Service’ violation,” Kelce wrote.

His Facebook followers defended him, bashing X.

“X has become an unsupervised cesspool,” wrote one follower.

“X (stinks) since Elon took over,” wrote another. “I know people who were banned for life but they somehow get their accounts back or are at least permitted to create a new one with time. Sorry. Love your boys, family and Taylor!!”

Kelce offered additional details Sunday in two more Facebook posts in which he took more shots at Musk, who has not commented.

First he posted a story about starring in a commercial for Garage Beer with son Jason Kelce, now retired from the Philadelphia Eagles. His sons announced in June they are now the largest investors in the light beer company in their home state of Ohio, their first business venture together.

“This was fun,” he wrote. “I did notice that the vid was posted to X. Apparently I can be in a video on X even though Elon and his troll army have banned me from following or commenting.”

A couple of hours later, the elder Kelce posted more details.

“Let me try and clear something up here,” he wrote. “I’m rarely on Facebook or Instagram. I get Google alerts in my email about articles mentioning the boys and remotely post them to Facebook for friends and family to see.

“I posted the thing about arms dealers active on X because frankly, I was pissed at Elon’s trolls.

“I rarely wrote anything on X … I was active on X/Twitter from September to February, reading others’ posts. Apparently the X Twits believe I posted something contrary to their rules in May or June 2023. Never happened. I’m guessing I was hacked, as the platform isn’t all that secure.”
