Mike Tindall once reportedly described Prince Harry with a cutting, one-word remark which revealed his true feelings about the estranged royal.
The alleged incident is thought to have happened back in June 2022, after the Platinum Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been estranged from the royals since they quit their duties and moved to the US in 2020, but they made an exception in 2022 and returned to Harry’s home country for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum celebrations.
Harry and Meghan did not attend the Jubilee concert and only made one official appearance alongside the rest of the royals – a service of thanksgiving held at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The Sussexes and the Tindalls once used to have a close relationship but ever since Harry and Meghan’s sensational departure, things appeared to be quite “frosty”, even all the way back then.
After the Jubilee concert, Zara Tindall’s husband appeared to confide to another guest about his true feelings for the duke, with reports at the time claiming that he referred to his behaviour as that of a “b*****d”.
Mr Tindall later spoke about the concert, which featured performances by the likes of Duran Duran, Diversity and Elton John, and told his The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby podcast that it gave the royals the chance to “chat” and enjoy a drink together after the show.
He said: “It was at the concert where there was a bit more of a chat together because we went in and had a drink with everyone after.
Meanwhile, his feelings were on full show when, during Harry and Meghan’s only official appearance at St Paul’s Cathedral, he barely made any contact with them, opting to speak to someone else instead.
As the royals were exiting the cathedral following the service, Zara was pictured speaking to Meghan, while Mike was seen standing silently or speaking to the Earl of Snowdon.
