Reeling from her November 2022 split with ex-husband Morgan Evans, Kelsea Ballerini channeled that pain and heartbreak into a vulnerable six-song EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. Her 2024 album, Patterns, is an exercise in what comes nextâhealing, sisterhood, and navigating new relational dynamics. Balleriniâs fifth studio album struck a chord with listeners, who sent it to the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Now, it appears thereâs more in store, as the âCowboys Cry Tooâ singer has announced a deluxe version.
Kelsea Ballerini Fans Beg, âPlease Donât Stop Unpackingâ
Borrowing from the Patterns track âBaggage,â Kelsea Ballerini cheekily announced in a Wednesday (Feb. 26) social media post that she âwasnât done unpacking.â
âpatterns (deluxe) out march 7th!!!!â wrote the two-time CMA Award winner, 31. âIM SO EXCITED.â
Naturally, fans were thrilled. âPlease donât stop unpacking,â one Instagram user implored in the comments section.
âPatternsâ Deluxe Includes Five New Songs
Additionally, Kelsea Ballerini shared a second slide revealing the names of five bonus tracks featured on the albumâs deluxe version. The unreleased fan favorite âTo The Men Who Love Women After Heartbreak,â is among them.
In November 2023, the âPenthouseâ songstress debuted the emotionally raw ballad on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Some fans were upset when âTo All the Menâ was absent from the Patterns tracklist. Now, it gets a permanent place on the deluxe version.
Additionally, other new songs include âFuture Tripping,â âPut It To Bed,â âCut Me Up,â and âHindsight Is Happiness.â Ballerini debuted âFuture Trippingâ Wednesday (Feb. 26) during a show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
âI feel like itâs a good time to tell you that the Patterns deluxe comes out March 7,â Ballerini told the Fort Worth crowd before her performance. âThere are five new songs on it that we have been working on over the holidays and on this tour backstage.â
She continued, âMy favorite song, weâre going to play for you right now.â
Currently, Ballerini is criss-crossing the United States on her first-ever headlining arena tour. She is also serving as a coach on season 27 of The Voice, which began airing last month.
