However, Reynolds recently took to social media to confirm that the scene wasn’t a gag and holds a deeper significance in the franchise’s future. In the film, Deadpool is shown footage of one possible future where he dies in the arms of Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth. Following the film’s release, Reynolds took to social media and seemingly confirmed the scene holds a deeper significance.
