Meghan Markle in ‘serious trouble’ as she celebrates 43rd birthday

Meghan Markle celebrates her 43rd birthday today

Meghan Markle Sinister Death Threat Goes Viral - Newsweek

Today marks Meghan Markle’s birthday, and as she celebrates another year, she finds herself at a career crossroads.

This week, it was announced that she and Prince Harry will embark on a royal-style four-day tour of Colombia this summer. Additionally, she is scheduled to appear on US television later today alongside her husband to discuss their latest project aimed at promoting online safety for children.

Meanwhile, updates have been scarce regarding her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, since its website and Instagram account launched in March. The only recent activity has been social media posts from some of Meghan’s friends showcasing the branded jam they received several months ago.

And according to royal author Tom Quinn, this may signal that the couple’s life plan has run into “serious trouble”. He told the Mirror : “Harry has never had any real idea about becoming an entrepreneur or a businessman in his own right. He is trained from birth to do one thing only – to be a royal and he has thrown that away.

“His one hundred per cent support for his wife and her business ventures has never wavered but it hasn’t been enough to make a success of her company. Meghan is proof that self-belief won’t always guarantee success. It won’t always make you a great entrepreneur and businesswoman.”

Meghan’s birthday plans remain unclear, though she and Harry are set to appear on US TV today. They’ve prerecorded an interview for CBS Sunday Morning discussing a new initiative aiding parents of children affected by online harm, airing later today.

Regarding their upcoming trip to Colombia, Harry and Meghan will visit Bogota and other regions, aiming for a reception akin to their warmly received state visit to Nigeria.

They’ve been invited by Vice President Francia Márquez, also serving as Equality Minister, reflecting their growing ties with Colombia. The country holds significance as the sole Latin American participant in the Invictus Games, an event founded by Harry.
