The first look at the series’ final three episodes shows Belly (Lola Tung) beginning a new chapter in Paris after calling off her wedding to Jeremiah.

Just when Belly thought she was out, a Fisher boy pulls her back in!

On Friday, Prime Video dropped an all-new trailer for the final three episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which gives fans a taste of the aftermath of Belly’s (Lola Tung) last-minute decision to go to Paris after she and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) called off their wedding.

“I had these pillars in my life — Cousins, my family, Taylor, Jere,” Belly says in a voiceover as the trailer shows her on the plane from Boston to Paris. “They made me feel like I was safe, like I was on solid ground. Now they’re gone. And it’s just me.”

Unsurprisingly, Belly’s mom Laurel (Jackie Chung) is shaken by her daughter’s abrupt disappearance, and when she finally gets in touch with the college student, she demands Belly tell her where she’s gone so she can go get her.

Of course, Belly is beyond her mom’s easy reach at the moment, but as the trailer shows, that might be exactly what she needs.

Belly gets to know a whole new group of friends portrayed by recurring stars Corinna Brown (Heartstopper), Fernando Cattori (With You in the Future, Untamed Royals), Isaline Prevost Radeff (Ceux Qui Travaillent, Haute Mer), and Jahz Armando (Gangs of London).

These characters become key players in Belly’s Parisian journey as she reflects, “I don’t even know who I am anymore. I need to find the person that I can be.”

But, of course, those Fisher boys are never ones to let their Belly stray too far without reminding her of their presence.

The trailer ends as Belly receives an unexpected letter from Conrad (Christopher Briney) and his voice comes in for what will likely be the first of many handwritten letters from her first love.

The third and final season of Prime Video’s adaptation of Jenny Han’s beloved book trilogy has led fans on a rollercoaster of emotions.

The final episodes pick up after episode 8’s cliffhanger ending — after Belly heads to the airport and waits in line to board the plane to Paris, she glimpses an equally deflated Conrad quietly waiting for his own flight back to California. Just as she steps out of line toward him, the screen goes black, leaving fans to theorize what on Earth she could say to him until next week.

The season is a departure from Han’s final book in the series, We’ll Always Have Summer, which is set two summers earlier.

“There are surprises,” Han said. “And there are things that aren’t exactly like the books.”

But it all leads to what Han hopes is a “satisfying” conclusion in the series finale, no matter what “team” you root for. “A successful love triangle is one where, no matter what happens, people are going to be devastated and heartbroken,” Han warned. “Because if the answer feels really clear and easy, then there’s no real conflict. No matter what you do, someone’s going to be hurt by it.”

New episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty drop on Wednesdays at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Prime Video.
