PRINCE William was banned from his local video shop while at uni for not paying his fines, it was claimed.
The royal undergraduate’s favourite movie was said to be saucy comedy Boat Trip, which had scantily clad Swedish actress Victoria Silvstedt riding an outsize banana on the cover.

A former video shop assistant said the heir to the throne enjoyed multiple viewings of the 2002 DVD, which tells of two friends who accidentally end up on a gay cruise.
At the time, William, now a 42-year-old father-of-three, was studying at the University of St Andrews in Fife, along with his future wife Kate Middleton.
The assistant, named only as Zoe, claimed the young geography student was often seen browsing the aisles but was eventually banned for returning DVDs late.
She said: “We used to serve Prince William quite regularly in the video shop in St Andrews before everything went digital.
“His DVDs were always late and his bodyguards would never want to pay the fines.
“We would end up, because it was just part of it, we had to ban Prince William until he paid up, which he always did in the end. He’s very nice.”
She revealed that his favourite film was Boat Trip, which stars former Playboy centrefold Victoria as a bikini model called Inga.
Zoe said the movie — also starring Cuba Gooding Jr — was terrible, adding: “It’s got a very scantily clad lady in a blue bikini riding a banana. He rented that a couple of times at least.”
