The American actress, writer, and television director-producer is one of the most prolific personalities in the world of entertainment, having been named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by TIME Magazine in 2023.

And after some incredible feats in the world of television and Netflix, the DC star is all set to enter the realm of MCU in an undisclosed role in the upcoming, Fantastic Four. As exciting as the update is, fans have been busy trying to decode what her role is going to be, and they might just have figured it out.

The casting and preparations for bringing Marvel’s first family into the MCU seem to be going on in full force. After years of waiting and wanting the Fantastic Four to join the MCU in prominent roles, fans so have been loving it all.

And now the five-time Primetime Emmy-nominated actress-writer-director Natasha Lyonne has joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming Fantastic Four, as per Deadline. The actress is known best for her roles in Netflix’s Orange is the New Black and Russian Doll, and has also made a strong impression in the world of theatre and Broadway.

Although her role has not been revealed yet, she is the latest addition to the cast after The Hollywood Reporter revealed last week that Harry Potter star, Ralph Ineson has joined the project as the antagonist, Galactus.

The movie further stars, Pedro Pascal in the lead as Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as her brother Johnny Storm/ Human Torch as well as Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/ The Thing.

The cast of Marvel’s Fantastic Four is one of the best fans have seen in recent years and Natasha Lyonne’s addition to the movie has greatly amplified the excitement of fans. However, the mystery surrounding her character has made Marvel fans try to decode which role she might be playing.

While some stated that she might be starring as Ebon Moss-Bachrach‘s on-screen girlfriend, Alicia Masters, others stated she might be voicing the beloved fictional robot of the Fantastic Four, H.E.R.B.I.E.

As fans continue to investigate and contemplate, Lyonne or the Fantastic Four cast and crew is yet to make a comment. With a script by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, and Ian Springer, Fantastic Four will be directed by WandaVision helmer Matt Shakman.
