Meghan Markle ‘not invited’ to Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie’s favourite spot as key date looms

A London venue will re-open after it closed in 2016.

A popular London nightclub that was once a favourite spot of Prince Harry and Prince William is set to reopen near Kensington Palace.

Carlo Carello, co-owner of the new venue and an old friend of Prince Harry’s, has explicitly stated that the Duchess of Sussex is not welcome at the establishment.

Carello told the Daily Mail: “Everyone is welcome – except Meghan. I don’t like her.”

The club, formerly known as Boujis, is being relaunched as Gallery and will be situated close to the grounds of Kensington Palace.

The venue, which closed its original location in 2016 before briefly reopening as B London in 2023, is now preparing for its third incarnation under the management of Carello and his business partners.

The club holds significant royal history, with co-owner Jake Parkinson-Smith describing it as “a home away from home for the royals” and “a safe space for them”.

The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly had one of their first dates at the original Boujis venue.

Carello revealed: “They drank Crack Babies and they loved it.”

The establishment has been a favoured destination for other members of the Royal Family, including Princess Beatrice.

The new venue will feature a Cuban-style bar and a pizzeria called Carlo’s Pizza.

Earl Spencer’s son Ned is expected to take up DJ duties at the club.

The new Gallery venue will be located just steps away from Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s Nottingham Cottage residence, which was previously home to Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now reside in California alongside their two children, Prince Archie, five and Princess Lilibet, three.
