THE Prince and Princess of Wales want to see disgraced Prince Andrew dislodged from his royal abode, an expert has claimed.

Prince Andrew stopped using his title as the Duke of York and gave up his membership with the Order of the Garter amid the resurfaced Epstein scandal.

The humiliated royal has also faced calls for his home, Royal Lodge, to be taken away from him amid the storm of scandals.

It was reported today that the shamed royal has dodged annual payments on the sprawling estate for years, intensifying calls for Andrew to be evicted from the 40 hectare estate in the heart of Windsor Great Park.

Royal expert Phil Dampier has now said that Prince William and Princess Kate will likely take the same stance as the King in his attempts to remove Andrew from the estate.

Speaking with The Sun, Dampier said: “We all saw with our own eyes the reaction that William had to Andrew when he tried to talk to him after the Duchess of Kent’s funeral, and it was obvious that he didn’t have any time for him.

“I think behind the scenes, he would like to take a much firmer line with his uncle, and, feels that he’s doing untold damage to the monarchy and would very much like this whole mess to be cleared up, one way or the other, and a real line to be drawn under it before he becomes king.”

Aside from Williams concerns for the further damage Andrew might do to the firms reputation, Dampier said Wills probably worries his humiliated uncle could bring chaos to his door.

Andrew’s current home is a stones throw away from Kate and Wills own property and just today it was reported that protestors had gathered outside Royal Lodge to demand Andrew’s eviction.

Dampier told The Sun: “I don’t think he wants to be living within a couple of miles of someone who’s constantly getting… I mean, today, I think there are demonstrators down there.

“There are actually protesters outside the house with megaphones, shouting that Andrew should leave his home.

“It’s all turning into a bit of a circus, and I’m sure William would just like to see the back of it to be honest.”

Despite the rising calls to remove Andrew from his royal residence it has long been said that he could not be removed by legal force until 2078.

The ex-Duke of York reportedly has an “iron-clad” leasehold agreement on the sprawling country manor.

While the King and William are reportedly eager to put distance between the firm and Andrew’s humiliating fall from grace they may not be able to order him out of the home.

Andrew, 65, stubbornly clung onto his titles amid the snowballing Epstein scandal, maintaining use of his titles until the eleventh hour.

It was only when the King reportedly ordered disgraced Andrew to drop the use of his Duke of York title that he did.

Andrew has always denied Virginia Guiffre’s allegations and it is understood he only stepped back from royal duties, and relinquished his titles when handed marching orders.

Dampier told The Sun that Andrew needs to come to terms with his new reality however.

The royal expert explained: “It’s about time that he really just accepted the fact that he’s finished as a member of the royal family, and just start a new life, and possibly go abroad.

“I think that would be the best solution for everyone.

“He has quite a big house, or mansion, if you want to call it a Palace, in Abu Dhabi, that was given to him many years ago.

“He’s never really used it, but that is still sitting there on offer. He could go there.

“Funnily enough, that’s where King Juan Carlos went to live when he was in exile.”

Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson still lives with him at Royal Lodge while his two daughters Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, visit their father at the home.

Leaving the property would, for Andrew, mean asking his ex-wife to leave as well.

Dampier told The Sun: “I just do not see any future for them in this country.

“It’s not doing anyone any good, it’s taken him a long time, but I think the realisation that he really does have no future must even finally be getting through to him.

“He’s extremely bothered, and he’s at a very low end, and so is Sarah Ferguson.

“They are both, mentally, in a bad way, I know that for a fact, and they are really suffering.”

The royal expert went on to slam Andrew for his lack of empathy and dignity in the wake of the scandal.

Even in the early stages of his downfall, immediately after the infamous Emily Maitlis interview, Dampier said, Andrew failed to show “enough sympathy for the victims.”

Dampier told The Sun that its not just the King and William who will want to see Andrew removed from Royal Lodge.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, will also reportedly want Andrew to be distanced from the firm.

Dampier said: “I think Kate’s attitude will be that she will support what William wants to do.

“Obviously, she’s had more important things to worry about with her own health battles and looking after her children.

“That’s been her main priority, so I don’t think she would have been particularly active behind the scenes

“I think she’s pretty much leaving it to William to make the decisions, and she pretty much supports what he does.”

Dampier explained that the Prince and Princess of Wales will likely want the scandal to be over as soon as possible.

With William next in line for the throne, Dampier said he and Kate are hoping the scandal will be over when William is becomes the monarch.

The pair will be keen to take to their rule without any ongoing scandals in the background, Dampier said.

Dampier told The Sun: ” What they don’t want is ongoing scandals coming from other members of the family, including Andrew.”

He went on to explain that the spectacular re-emergence of the Epstein scandal will likely have been the nail in the coffin for William and Kate.

With the launch of Virginia Guiffre’s book today the Prince’s past actions have been thrust back into the spotlight.

Dampier said the Prince and Princess of Wales proximity to the scandal and Andrew is a sore point for them, adding to their desire to see him removed from Royal Lodge.

Dampier told The Sun: “I think the public is just seeing day in, day out stories about Andrew holed up in his Windsor home, and William and Kate are living in Windsor.

“The kids are going to be going to school, it’s just by association, there is a possibility that they would bump into them at various times, but it’s just clearing the decks, trying to get things sorted out, and trying to get this finally resolved before he becomes king.

“If he was still in Royal Lodge when William and Kate became king and queen, then he would have the problem, and he’d be seen as the one having to deal with it.”

“So, it’s best for all concerned if this gets cleared up, finally, in some way, shape, or form, while Charles is king.”
