Reeling from her November 2022 split with ex-husband Morgan Evans, Kelsea Ballerini channeled that pain and heartbreak into a vulnerable six-song EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. Her 2024 album, Patterns, is an exercise in what comes next—healing, sisterhood, and navigating new relational dynamics. Ballerini’s fifth studio album struck a chord with listeners, who sent it to the top of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Now, it appears there’s more in store, as the “Cowboys Cry Too” singer has announced a deluxe version.
Kelsea Ballerini Fans Beg, “Please Don’t Stop Unpacking”
Borrowing from the Patterns track “Baggage,” Kelsea Ballerini cheekily announced in a Wednesday (Feb. 26) social media post that she “wasn’t done unpacking.”
“patterns (deluxe) out march 7th!!!!” wrote the two-time CMA Award winner, 31. “IM SO EXCITED.”
Naturally, fans were thrilled. “Please don’t stop unpacking,” one Instagram user implored in the comments section.
‘Patterns’ Deluxe Includes Five New Songs
Additionally, Kelsea Ballerini shared a second slide revealing the names of five bonus tracks featured on the album’s deluxe version. The unreleased fan favorite “To The Men Who Love Women After Heartbreak,” is among them.
In November 2023, the “Penthouse” songstress debuted the emotionally raw ballad on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Some fans were upset when “To All the Men” was absent from the Patterns tracklist. Now, it gets a permanent place on the deluxe version.
Additionally, other new songs include “Future Tripping,” “Put It To Bed,” “Cut Me Up,” and “Hindsight Is Happiness.” Ballerini debuted “Future Tripping” Wednesday (Feb. 26) during a show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
“I feel like it’s a good time to tell you that the Patterns deluxe comes out March 7,” Ballerini told the Fort Worth crowd before her performance. “There are five new songs on it that we have been working on over the holidays and on this tour backstage.”
She continued, “My favorite song, we’re going to play for you right now.”
Currently, Ballerini is criss-crossing the United States on her first-ever headlining arena tour. She is also serving as a coach on season 27 of The Voice, which began airing last month.
