Neve Campbell’s Maggie hasn’t been a series regular since The Lincoln Lawyer season 1, and her role has gotten smaller over time. She only appeared intermittently in season 2. In The Law of Innocence, Maggie takes a leave of absence so that she can support Mickey, becoming actively involved in his defense. The pair could also further their romance throughout The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, as they rekindle their romance in the book before going into COVID-19 lockdown. Although they’ll undoubtedly leave out the pandemic part of the story, the rest could hold true.
