Prince William is campaigning to get Prince Harry taken out of their father King Charles III‘s will, claims a royal source! Damn.

According to a high-level palace insider via RadarOnline on Friday, the monarch is being pushed by several people within The Firm to remove his youngest from his will:

“A lot of people in royal circles feel Harry does not deserve a dime, and they’re leaning on Charles to cut him off.”

That would be such a bold and harsh decision amid their rift!

Because Charles is currently battling an undisclosed form of cancer — which some have speculated could be pancreatic cancer — his will has been an ever-increasing priority of late, the insider pointed out:

“Charles wrote his will long ago, but certain family members and courtiers are strongly urging him to update the document so as not to include Harry.”

The Prince of Wales is said to be one of those family members urging Charles to remove Harry, but he’s also reportedly trying to get his father to give him more control of the throne now — before the 76-year-old’s illness gets too overwhelming for him to continue to rule at the same time. So, basically trying to push him out sooner? That can’t be helping tensions!

All that said, a rep for the palace denied these claims; however, the palace source doubled down, saying:

“There’s still so much animosity towards Harry. It runs deep. It’s the senior courtiers that run the royal family’s business and make the hard decisions. But they’re not getting much resistance to this idea among the family.”

Should Charles agree to the pleas of those around him, a mole believes it will “likely be the final nail in the coffin for any kind of reconciliation.” Oof.

All this comes as Harry has actually been trying to make amends with his father, though his stepmother Queen Camilla has not been making it easy. A source shared:

“She’s made it her mission to protect Charles from any sort of stress, and in her view that’s all Harry brings. It’s now at a point where she’s saying Charles shouldn’t even be taking Harry’s calls, that it would be bad for his stress levels and general anxiety.”

Jeez! That’s harsh.

It’s not just Camilla who still holds a grudge. According to the palace confidant, the royal family is still very upset with Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s sense of entitlement, which could tip the scales. They explained:

“The royals are nowhere near forgiving them and feel there should be some sort of punishment meted out, which is why this idea of cutting him out of the will has got real legs.”

BTW, there’s a lot of money at stake. The royal family’s collective wealth is estimated to be a staggering $34 billion. When Harry turned 40 in September, he was also given $10 million from a trust fund established by his late great-grandmother years ago, which was a burn to his family members, the source stated:

“William was not happy about Harry getting that money and even more upset about Meghan getting her hands on it.”

Whoa. They really can’t stand the Suits alum, can they??

While Charles and those close to him have been insisting he’s making positive progress amid his cancer battle, this insider claims things are more dire than they’re letting on, and that’s why this will conversation has been so important, adding:

“There isn’t a lot of time to figure this out. The royals hate the idea of Harry getting anything from the Windsors, so the feeling is that now’s the time to put it down on paper. […] It’s heartbreaking for everyone close to Charles. They’re just trying to screen him from as much distress as possible.”

Well, it sounds like they’re also creating some of this stress if they’re so eager to have him make such a huge decision so quickly. Just saying!
