Buckingham Palace has announced that the Princess of Wales will attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday as well as the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph.
Prince William and his father, King Charles, will accompany the 42-year-old Catherine. One of the most important events in the British royal calendar, the service will honor those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation and will be held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London.

However, the Queen’s attendance at Remembrance events will be subject to medical advice nearer the time, the Palace said.
The 77-year-old Camilla had to cancel engagements earlier this week due to a chest infection.
Catherine’s gradual return to public royal duties has taken a major turn with the announcement. She will be doing two days of public official engagements in a row for the first time since the year began.
The announcement follows William’s declaration that 2024 has been “brutal” and “probably the hardest year in my life” due to Catherine and the King’s cancer diagnoses.
As he wrapped up his four-day visit to Cape Town in support of the Earthshot Prize Awards, Prince William spoke candidly in an interview with UK print media in South Africa.
“Trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult,” he stated.

After stating that “from a personal family point of view” the past year has been “brutal,” he added, “But I’m so proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done.”
He shared that Catherine is “doing really well” as an update.
The health issues of the King and the Princess of Wales were confirmed in February and March of this year.
Catherine, 42, finished a course of preventative chemotherapy in September, and Charles, 75, has resumed his treatment after returning to the UK from his tour of Australia and Samoa with his wife Camilla.

As part of her early childhood work and preparations for her upcoming Christmas Carol Service, Catherine has convened several formal meetings.
The mother of three was photographed at Windsor Castle with 16-year-old Liz Hatton, a budding photographer who was told in January that she had a rare and aggressive type of cancer.
