Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, reportedly offered some tough advice to Meghan Markle when she joined the British Royal Family, according to royal commentator Neil Sean.

Sean, on his YouTube channel, claimed that Meghan sought out Princess Anne for guidance. He described Anne, known for her direct approach, as a “no-nonsense” royal, similar to her late father, Prince Philip.

“The Princess Royal told the Duchess of Sussex that being a member of the Royal Family is a job, not a fairy tale,” Sean said. Anne reportedly emphasized the importance of duty, punctuality, and thorough research for royal engagements. She also stressed the expectation of active involvement in supported charities.

According to Sean, Meghan was left “dumbfounded” by this advice. He further claimed that Meghan did not connect with Princess Anne’s approach and that Anne suspected Meghan wouldn’t stay with the monarchy long-term.
