British royal family news reveals that Prince William could boycott the Royal Family Christmas if a certain male adjacent to the monarchy is there.
No, we’re not talking about Prince Harry, apparently William has beef with another man associated with the monarchy and it’s his stepbrother Tom Parker-Bowles.
According to the Economic Times, Prince William allegedly is “not on good terms with his stepbrother Tom Parker-Bowles” the son of Queen Camilla, King Charles’ second wife. Here’s what to know about the other royal feud apparently brewing in the UK.
Royal Family News – Is William Beefing With Tom Parker-Bowles?
The Daily Beast claims that William could end up foregoing the annual Christmas gathering at Balmoral if Queen Camilla insists on Tom being there. If Tom is present, William and Kate Middleton are “unlikely to attend” the gathering.
While Prince William is notably estranged from his brother Prince Harry, not much is known about his alleged beef with Queen Camilla’s son Tom Parker-Bowles.
Royal Family News – Queen Camilla’s Son, Tom Parker-Bowles
A source told the outlet “It is best to avoid mentioning Tom around William.” What has Tom done to anger the legendarily placid prince?
William is a family man and apparently thinks that Tom is a playboy with a “rather louche lifestyle as a Mayfair bon vivant.”
Tom may also have run afoul of William due to his PR tour for his new cooking book. Let’s just say that it could have triggered William who most definitely was not pleased when Harry mouthed off during his press tour for his memoir, Spare.
Royal Family News – Who Is Tom Parker-Bowles?
And yet, Tom has been very conciliatory with the royals, especially while doing his media tour. For example, he talked to People about King Charles’s health scare and cancer diagnosis.
Tom said “It’s a terrifying disease, and when someone close to you gets it in whatever capacity, it’s a very worrying thing. But my mother is strong as well. She supports him in every way. I think it’s wonderful to have someone you love by your side. I’m incredibly proud of her. She’s at an age when most people think of retiring, but she never complains; she just gets on with it.”
