Prince Harry seems to have failed to capture American hearts if this awkward TV moment is anything to go by.

The cringe-worthy moment came when contestants on a US TV quiz struggled to name top facts about him.

It came after the Duke of Sussex came up as a category on the classic American game show Family Feud, the US equivalent of the hit show Family Fortunes in the UK. The game sees two competing families try to name the most popular answers to a question that has been posed to 100 members of the public.

In one of the most recent episodes, which saw the Hernandez and Colley families, battle it out, host Steve Harvey asked them: “Tell me something people know about Prince Harry.”

Fabian from the Hernandez family buzzed in and said: “He’s married to Meghan Markle”, which unbelievably was the top answer. Another member of the Hernandez family correctly guessed that Harry being a prince was also fourth on the list of six, while his mother Princess Diana was also a top pick. However, other guesses from the family that he is wealthy, related to Prince William and a grandson of the late Queen were not on the list.

The game then passed to the Colley family who only needed one correct answer to steal the point – and their answer of him having red hair was a match. The ones the contestants failed to get were he is a ‘balding’ or a ‘hottie’.

The ‘hottie’ answer might have been inspired by the fact that Harry was named one of the 50’s Most Beautiful Men of All Time – beating the likes of David Beckham and Channing Tatum.

Harper’s Bazaar released a list charting the ‘hottest men’ of the last 60 years. And the Prince of Sussex has been included. Harry was placed at number 25, ahead of Beckham at number 39, and Hollywood star Bradley Cooper at 32. Ryan Gosling was named number 29, followed by Ryan Reynolds, who came in at number 31.

Interestingly, the top ten was dominated by screen stars of the past with 1950’s Rebel Without A Cause icon James Dean taking the top spot. He is followed by Marlon Brando, Cary Grant, Rock Hudson and Paul Newman respectively.

It’s not the first time Harry has been named in a ‘most attractive’ list. In 2020, he was crowned ‘Sexiest Royal’. Voted for by the readers of People Magazine, the Duke of Sussex beat the likes of Prince Carl Phillip of Sweden, Prince Felix of Luxembourg, Prince Mateen of Brunei, and even his own brother Prince William.
