Prince Harry and Kate Middleton were once so close, but problems and tension caused them to drift. Now, Harry is reportedly making moves to solve the problems with his sister-in-law by sending her a heartfelt note.

Prince Harry might not be on good terms with most of his family, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t thinking about them. Back in February, Harry said in an interview that he loves his family, though we wouldn’t know it based on how little time he spends with them. However, reports have surfaced that Harry recently wrote sister-in-law Kate Middleton a heartfelt note with the hopes of finally reconciling as he approaches his 40th birthday.

Prince Harry reportedly wrote Kate Middleton a heartfelt note

Harry and Kate were once like brother and sister. The two were the best of friends, and it didn’t take them long to like each other after Prince William brought home his future wife back in 2004. However, over time, tensions between Harry and William caused Harry’s relationship with Kate to essentially disappear. Now, though, rumor has it Harry has reached out to the princess with a heartfelt note.

In July 2024, Kate made her second public appearance of the year at Wimbledon, where she was greeted with a standing ovation. And apparently, Harry was watching the event from afar. According to Express, an insider told Heat Magazine that, “Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant. He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out.”

Apparently, Harry is happy to see that Kate is doing well. “He’s just so grateful that she’s on the mend and able to get back to her duties after taking time off — as is Meghan.” The note was reportedly a way for Harry to show that he still cares for Kate and wants to make things better between them.

Could the alleged note be the start of healing the royal family rift?

Of course, nobody can prove that the note was sent; it could have also just been a text message or something along those lines. But any communication is good since, for a while, it seemed Harry wasn’t even on speaking terms with William and Kate. It could mark the start of healing, and with Harry’s 40th birthday approaching, he might want to go into a new decade with positive vibes.

Harry and Meghan have not seen much of William and Kate in recent years; the last time the four of them were together was shortly after Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022. Although it doesn’t seem like things are in a great place, if the note rumor is true, it could mean that the Wales and Sussex couples are finally working to move past all of the drama.
