Prince Harry ‘Frustrated’ With Royal Pressures Despite Stepping Down From His Duties

The royal family is undoubtedly going through a difficult time right now, with the head of the family, King Charles, heavily restricted by his health, and the heir to the throne focusing on the Princess of Wales’ cancer treatment. Because of this, more and more pressure has been put on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as a lot of people think they could have “helped”

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the royal family not only due to the tensions with the royals but also because they didn’t want the lifestyle. Prince Harry reportedly finds the pressure that comes with being a prince frustrating and overwhelming and wishes he and Meghan could just live a quiet life in the US.

Prince Harry Is Tired Of The Royal Lifestyle

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have stepped down from their royal duties, going as far as leaving the United Kingdom and starting a new life in California, the pressure seems to still be too much for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to endure.

Royal expert Cameron Walker commented on this situation, alleging that the Prince is “trying to go at it alone” and “not trying to become a working royal,” and doesn’t appreciate people still trying to get him to perform royal duties. “I think he is pretty happy in California from the messages we are getting from him, but clearly it is a huge frustration,” the expert explained.

That frustration, Cameron Walker suggests, is aimed at “those Royal watchers and those Royal fans who think what could have been if he stayed as a working member and how much he could have perhaps helped.”

The fact that he’s not on good terms with the royal family but is still expected by admirers of the Crown to attend his duties as a working royal is apparently too much for him.

“I think over the last few years, it’s been pretty clear that Prince Harry has been pretty angry and frustrated with the situation he’s ended up being in.”

“There’s been long periods of absence, I think, from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle” because of this.

It’s Unlikely Prince Harry Will Resume His Royal Duties

A lot of people have been speculating that there will be a reconciliation between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family following King Charles and Kate Middleton’s diagnosis, but that notion has been repeatedly challenged.

The prince recently returned to the UK for a short visit, but despite his declining health, his father did not meet him.

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme,” a rep for Prince Harry said at the time. “The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

The tense relationship between Prince Harry and the rest of the family became evident once again as it was made public that he had been banned from staying at Windsor Castle during his visit to the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, it’s not only his frustration with the royal lifestyle but also his still strained relationship with the royals that indicates he won’t be returning to the royal family any time soon.
