Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids’ Christmas photo goes viral. But fans point out something is wrong, we’re being lied to!

Don’t be fooled by the recent viral picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children going around!

Last week, a fan posted a card for the holidays featuring a black-and-white photo of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. In the photo, their 5-year-old son is dressed in a sweater and pants while their 3-year-old daughter sported a floral dress. Behind the little ones appears to be two of Harry and Meghan’s dogs. It’s a really cute pic!

The card reads:

“Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, from Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet.”

Take a look (below):

We rarely see pictures of the kiddos, so what a great surprise this is — or at least it would have been. If this was real! Fans quickly noticed something was wrong with the pic… that it was totally fake! AI struck again!

There were big tells, like the fact it wasn’t sourced directly from the Sussexes in any way. But of course the other thing was the kids being… not quite right. AI still has trouble climbing out of that uncanny valley. It’s especially bad with hands and teeth — which you’ll notice are both hidden by the kids’ Civil War-photo non-smiles and hands behind the backs. LOLz!

Some clever critics explained how the post was created from older pictures of Archie and Lilibet and then edited to look like a brand-new photo. See some of the sharp reactions:

“Completely fake.”

“Pathetic fakery.”

“Oh Please.. so fake”

“Very AI looking – creepy too”

“People, this is AI.”

“A complete fabrication! 100% AI And to think some people will believe this is real”

“Hidden hands and feet very strange Ai can’t do hands and feet properly yet Also b&w filter hides a whole lot of things Like the red hair The eye colour etc.”

“That is NOT Archie! That’s AI.”

At this time, Meghan and Harry have not reacted to the viral pic. However, if you want to see an actual updated image of the family, just take a look at the actual Christmas card they released earlier this month. Check it out (below):

See? They did release a real new photo of their kids, something they rarely do. But you’ll notice in the official pic, they had the kids facing the other way so as not to over-expose them to the media, something Harry is very sensitive about. THAT is a real pic.
