Royal Family News – Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Aren’t Moving To Portugal After All?

Despite everything that is going on in their lives right now, it seems like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying put in California.

As much as Prince Harry wants to be closer to the UK, it seems like they have decided not to move to Europe right now, and not even on a part time basis, either. Instead, they want to focus on raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in America despite the circumstances around them.

One source close to the situation put it this way: “The villa in Portugal is more an investment than anything else and construction hasn’t even been completed yet. It hasn’t been purchased as a new home, but more as a holiday retreat and something they can put their money into to protect their assets.”

There was also a rumor that suggested President-Elect Donald Trump’s win might have “sent the Sussexes into a spin” and that’s what prompted them to think about leaving the country. However, it seems like there’s no truth to that rumor.

The insider also said, “Harry and Meghan are not fazed by the comments Trump made because they believe they have done everything correctly. Meghan is a US citizen, and Archie has just started a new school, so to leave the place they call home isn’t even an option.”

So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space.
