Not divorced: Harry and Meghan laugh together in the new Netflix series - the TV project that 'awakens' the secret talent of the Duchess of Susses

THIS is the moment loved-up Prince Harry and Meghan Markle poke fun at each other in their new Netflix series.

The five-episode documentary Polo was released today and is about the lives of elite global players on and off the field.

It follows them as they compete in the high-stakes US Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida.

Through fierce rivalries and intense training, viewers get a glimpse into the dedication and skill required to compete at the sport’s highest level.

The Netflix show focuses on key players from the polo scene and the challenges they face as they vie for the coveted title.

And five minutes into episode five Meghan can be heard speaking Spanish.

Harry claims his wife speaks the language fluently before she responds in Spanish: “I lived there about 20 years ago.

“In Palermo Viejo. Las Canitas too. Yes, but I love the 25th May.”

A polo player can then be heard asking the wayward Duke: “Do you speak Spanish?”

Harry responds “he knows I don’t” as Meghan can be heard laughing as she says “yes” in English.

Prince Harry and Meghan are executive producers on Polo.

The Duke said in a statement: “This series offers audiences an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look into the passion and determination driving some of the world’s elite polo players, revealing the grit behind the glamour.

“We’re proud to showcase the true depth and spirit of the sport — and the intensity of its high-stakes moments.”

But critics have blasted the new show claiming it won’t have the “same mass appeal” as their royal docuseries.

Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said fans care more about their royal drama than polo or their woke projects.

The royal expert explained: “How interested are people in polo?”

How Meghan and Harry are investing their Netflix millions

HARRY and Meghan have begun investing their Netflix millions in a property portfolio.

They have bought a new home in Portugal, around the corner from Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband.

But the Sussexes, who have been spending an increasing amount of time apart, do not plan to live in their new pad, The Sun understands.

It is not known if the property will be rented out, used for Airbnb-style holiday lets or used purely to park money.

But it is seen as the first step of putting earnings from their TV and book deals into a global property empire.

“They’re being smart with their money,” a source said.

They pocketed £75million from streaming giant Netflix where they laid into fellow royals in a six-part series.

Meanwhile Harry, who got a £15million advance for his autobiography Spare, also inherited £8million from the late Queen Mother after turning 40 in September.

Palace insiders have been concerned about what will happen when the Sussexes run out of cash.

They have huge overheads, forking out a fortune on security in the US and for when Harry visits the UK.

And they are still paying a mortgage on the £11million Montecito mansion they bought after quitting as working royals in 2020.

Insiders say the Portugal home will be part of a financial portfolio which will include more real estate.

She added: “I just think the problem is that getting bums on seats in the wake of the Harry and Meghan docuseries, which was such compelling viewing because it was about them leaving.

“It was about their new lives. People wanted to tune in and watch that.

“I just don’t think this is going to have the same mass appeal.”

The series has been produced by the Sussexes’ Archewell Productions as part of their reported multimillion-pound deal with Netflix.

The couple have already released three series, Heart Of Invictus, Live To Lead and Harry & Meghan.

Fans will be able to stream all of episodes on the streaming platform at once.

It’s not yet been confirmed if the docuseries will be back for a second series.
