Millie Bobby Brown took a trip down memory lane and reminisced about the year that she tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi.

On her Instagram page, the 20-year-old actress posted a montage of her journey in 2024, including a glimpse of her wedding.

“The year of mrs bongiovi 🤍,” she wrote.

Fans online were quick to react to Millie’s post.

 

“You had a wonderful year! 💖✨ Congrats,” one fan commented.

“So happy for you Mils❤️,” another fan posted.

Millie married Jake Bongiovi in May 2024 as confirmed by PEOPLE.

The Sun reported the wedding ceremony was a “very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”

In a 2023 interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Millie described preparing for her wedding as one of the most exciting periods of her life.

She also expressed her desire to keep the wedding details as private as possible.

“I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me,” she said.

The actress went on: “So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.”

Millie confirmed her engagement to Jake in April 2023. To announce the engagement, she shared a post on Instagram, quoting a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Lover.”

“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍,” she posted on her Instagram page.

In an interview in The Tonight Show in 2024, Millie revealed that Jake proposed to her while they went underwater diving.

“I was like, 8 a.m.? Dive? And he’s telling me we’re going to the same spot we usually go to. I’m like, ‘It’s boring, let’s go somewhere new. He’s like, ‘No, we have to go to this spot,'” Millie recalled.

As they dived meters down the water, Jake then gave her a shell. “I turn it over and it’s a ring,” she recounted.
