Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly devastated when they heard that the royal family was making new plans without them. However, the general public seems genuinely elated about it. Supposedly, Prince Harry is furious because the royal family has been developing new succession plans without informing him. It has been revealed that succession planning started after the King was diagnosed with cancer. However, Prince Harry and Megan Markle were apparently left out of these plans.
Harry always believed he was only essential as a prince fulfilling his duties. However, when he married an American divorcee, he may have lost some of that importance by following a different path. Harry and Megan voluntarily stepped down as working royals four years ago, and they haven’t had a good relationship with the family since then.
In my opinion, it might be beneficial if Charles vacates his post, although I sincerely hope he recovers from his cancer and lives a long life. However, we must also consider the logistical situation. Therefore, it may be time to pass the realm to William, leaving Harry out in the cold.
Furthermore, William should be mature enough to make it clear to Harry that he will never regain his former status. It’s possible that Harry should be removed from the list of counselors of State. This should be taken into consideration when the monarchy evaluates who will succeed William.
The truth is, Harry should have been removed from this list a long time ago. Keeping him on it only gives him false hope of reconciliation with the family. He has no right to participate in the planning process, especially since he is no longer in the line of succession.
I personally hope Harry remains in exile forever, and I believe that’s what Prince William will ensure once he takes the throne. It brings me a sense of satisfaction to see Harry angry about this situation. It’s exactly what he deserves as a consequence of his actions.
Harry’s decision to abandon his grandparents in their time of need must have repercussions, and now he will have to face them. I honestly cannot understand what he expects. He said he wanted out, and now he’s out for good, with no chance of return. It was his choice, made without consulting the rest of the family. Why should we consider his opinions on this issue now?
How would it feel if someone who avoided their royal duties to enjoy a private life demanded a say in succession plans from the king they abandoned? It’s insane. Harry has to face the reality that he no longer has a place at the decision-making table. He had his chance, and he’s unlikely to get another one.
The only situation I can imagine in which he would return to the UK is if he was truly devastated and secluded himself with Megan Markle in some remote place. But even then, how can he assume he has any right to participate in these discussions?
After all, it was Harry who chose to leave the royal family with Megan in California to pursue wealth and fame. The royal family couldn’t stop him, so why should they listen to him now?
Perhaps now Harry is slowly coming to terms with this fact. As for Megan, she’s only with him for the money and fame he can provide. Once he’s no longer valuable to her, she’ll discard him.
The royal family doesn’t need Harry, and Megan will never regret leaving. I don’t think she’s capable of that. As for the two children supposedly born to Harry and Megan, if they even exist, they will be taken care of. However, since their only known connection is in America, they won’t be visiting the UK anytime soon.
