According to renowned royal expert Kinsey Schofield, Meghan Markle is now rethinking her decision to give up her royal title in 2020. Her move to the US with her husband, Prince Harry, caused a major rift within the Royal Family and the consequences that followed made her regret it.
“Meghan regrets some of the statements she made. Those statements were not received in the way she expected. Some of her comments even backfired,” the expert said.
“Meghan and Prince Harry deeply regret the Royal Family’s racism controversy. Meghan wanted the message to be about mental health from the Oprah Winfrey interview.”
While it may seem like Prince Harry’s wife wants to bury the hatchet with the Royal Family, that’s not the case. She still can’t really think about reconciling with other members, and the idea of reestablishing a relationship is almost always rejected.
According to the Royal expert, the former American actress’s life is quite separate, but she also has her own standards. The Duchess of Sussex is very selective about her friends, often looking for people who can “provide” and “contribute” to her personal goals.
“Meghan needs trust and privacy, her group of friends is quite small,” the expert added.
