She knows where her heart and her home is and she’s not going to change her mind over it. Of course, we are talking about Meghan Markle and her love for her home state of California.

While there have been reports saying that both Prince Harry and Meghan have bought a home in Portugal, some critics believe that this is only a small step to fix what seems to be a huge problem for them.

That’s because Prince Harry has made it no secret that he misses his life in the UK and longs to go back to the way things were before he met Meghan Markle. 

But  the former Hollywood actress clearly thinks differently. She loves the life that they’ve built in California and doesn’t want to go back to Europe. That’s why she’s refusing to move to Portugal on a full-time basis.

So, does this mean that the couple is going to spend even more time apart  than together? Maybe, as there’s a very good chance that Prince Harry might use their home in Portugal as a stepping stone back to the UK.

After all, both of their kids Archie and Lilibet are in school full-time now and it’s not like they can just hop on a plane and travel to Portugal at any given notice. But of course Prince Harry can and most likely will.

That said, it seems like the home in Portugal might cause even more problems for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle than actually offer a solution. Time will only tell how long this period in their lives will last.

So far the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not made any comments about the matter just yet.
