Meghan Markle is trying her best to reinvent the wheel: Is Meghan Markle stealing Pippa Middleton’s cookbook idea for her new show?

Meghan Markle is doing her best to reinvent the wheel, but it seems like it’s already been done. This time, she’s promoting her new series *With Love, Megan*, which is set to launch on January 15th. But if you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice something strikingly familiar.

It turns out Meghan’s whole “elevated lifestyle” vibe is basically a rehash of Pippa Middleton’s 2012 book *Celebrate*. Yes, the same Pippa Middleton—Kate’s sister—who became famous not just for that unforgettable royal wedding moment, but for her book *Celebrate*, where she shared her party-planning expertise.

At the time, Pippa was basking in the spotlight, and the book was filled with tips on how to host posh British celebrations, from bonfire night to Christmas, along with recipes to help anyone throw a luxe event. She received a £400,000 advance for the book, which, while filled with some laughably basic advice (like how to make ice cubes), didn’t spark any real controversy.

No one was throwing shade at her character—after all, Pippa had a legitimate background in event planning. She worked at her parents’ party planning business and had earned her place among the social elite. Public opinion was mixed on some of the book’s simpler tips, but overall, people found her charming, sweet, and harmless.

Fast forward to 2025, and Meghan Markle is trying to corner the same market with *With Love, Megan*. She’s clearly trying to sell the idea of a luxurious lifestyle, but here’s the catch—she doesn’t actually live that lifestyle.

Meghan seems to be blending California beach vibes with extravagant dinner parties, complete with fancy china sets that appear totally out of place. The result? An awkward mix of Martha Stewart-style luxury that leaves audiences scratching their heads.

Unlike Pippa, Meghan doesn’t have childhood memories tied to elite parties or British high society. Pippa’s book came from a place of authenticity—she was already a socialite before writing it.

Meghan, however, is trying to enter this world without the same genuine background. Pippa’s book had depth; Meghan’s seems a bit confused, hopping between California zen one minute and candelabras the next.

The real difference between these two, though, is the likability factor. Pippa Middleton has that charm—it’s hard not to like her. She has this twinkle in her eye, a warm smile, and an aura of being down-to-earth, despite her fancy family.

Meghan, on the other hand, often looks like she’s trying too hard. Even while serving up what are supposed to be luxury meals, she seems uncomfortable, like she’s out of her element.

Pippa’s always been quietly competent—she’s run marathons, earned a master’s degree, and juggled family life with three kids, all while making her mark in the social world. And she did all of this without needing constant PR pieces to keep her in the spotlight.

Meghan, however, seems to be clinging to her royal connections, trying to stay relevant through drama, while Pippa just quietly got on with her life, no need for attention.

Honestly, it feels like watching someone copy their classmate’s homework and hoping no one will n
