Meghan and Harry’s Dark Secrets Revealed You Won’t Bélieve

Royal correspondent and author Omid Scobie’s latest book, “Endgame,” has created more ripples than anticipated, throwing a proverbial spanner into the plans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, according to royal editor Rebecca English. The bombshell revelations in the book have resurfaced uncomfortable situations that the Sussexes, along with the entire House of Windsor, were hoping to put behind them.

According to reports by Express News, During an appearance on Mail+’s program “Palace Confidential,” English noted that “Endgame” brought attention back to issues and scandals that the royal family, including Harry and Meghan, would have preferred to keep out of the spotlight. The book, with its new takes and sources on previously overshadowed matters, has reignited public discussions around the Sussexes.

English remarked, “It’s raised uncomfortable situations that the family were really hopeful of trying to bury, and I include Harry and Meghan in that.”

After the controversy surrounding the Netflix documentary “Spare” and other interviews, the Sussexes had indicated a shift away from “look-back projects” related to the Royal Family. However, Scobie’s book has disrupted this narrative, bringing back discussions about the beginning of the year and placing the couple’s past under public scrutiny once again.

The royal couple, in their initial projects as non-working members of the royal family, focused on their relationship with the monarchy and the challenges they faced during their senior roles. Meghan and Harry delved into their past struggles in high-profile interviews, a Netflix documentary, and the Duke’s bombshell biography.

Ms. English expressed her observation, saying, “So the trouble is, I think, that it has laid this uncomfortable situation again out for public scrutiny.”

Omid Scobie, often referred to as the Sussexes’ biographer due to his previous book, “Finding Freedom,” co-authored with Carolyn Durand, faced criticism for bringing up the “issue of trust” regarding sources in his latest book. This puts Meghan and Harry in a challenging situation, especially considering they did not collaborate on “Endgame.”

As 2023 comes to a close, Meghan and Prince Harry find themselves facing criticism beyond the pages of “Endgame.” Hollywood Reporter labeled them among Hollywood’s “biggest losers,” and Forbes contributor Jeetendr Sehdev suggested their brand buzz has not translated into successful projects.

Despite the challenges, the Sussex camp insists there are numerous opportunities and exciting projects on the horizon. Meghan emphasized in November that they have “so many exciting things on the slate,” hinting at their determination to move forward and focus on their future endeavors.
