Kelsea Ballerini and her boyfriend Chase Stokes have plenty of support for each other’s careers. Ballerini and Stokes spoke in January 2025 interviews about how they hype each other up and, given that they’re both wildly successful, it must be non-stop hype.

Kelsea Ballerini: ‘I Want to Make Him Feel Like a Super Hero’

 

During her January 27 guest co-hosting gig on “Today With Jenna & Friends,” Ballerini shared how she cheers on Stokes — and he does the same for her.

“We always say, ‘I want to make him feel like a superhero,’ and vice versa,” she explained.

The country singer and “Outer Banks” star have been together for two years and their loving support has always been present in their relationship.

“Whenever we go into me starting a tour, and he had a film come out last week and another one coming out next week, it’s like, all right, superhero time,” Ballerini shared. “What can I do to make you feel like you have the gas behind you?”

Ballerini also noted an important part of their relationship is “a mirror system.”

“I often hear, ‘They make me a better person. ‘I like ‘bigger,’” she said. “I feel like when you get into a relationship when you’re really ready for it, you’re already better. You should be a really healthy, good, whole version of yourself going into it.”

“The Voice” coach continued, “I feel like in my relationship, what I’ve learned the most is the way that you can mirror someone, like when you really allow yourself to be fully yourself with your partner, it really is a mirror system, and you can help each other know each other better.”

During a January 2025 interview with “Extra” to talk about his new movie “Valiant One,” Stokes was asked, “How proud are you of [Ballerini]?”

With her first arena tour and joining “The Voice” as a new coach, there’s no shortage of successes that he’s proud of.

“Her work ethic is unmatched and to do something like ‘The Voice,’ which is a huge lift, and then to just start doing a 36-stop arena tour on top of that and it’s like selling so fast,” Stokes remarked. “I was looking at everything from Chicago last night — it’s insane.”

The actor continued, “I don’t know how she does it and somehow she does and she does it with grace and still finds time for real life in between.”

He added, “I think it’s just a beautiful thing to see your partner living out her 13-year-old dreams.”
