FOX News host Kat Timpf has been forced to defend herself from sick online trolls who are questioning her life-altering cancer diagnosis.

Timpf, 36, hit back at revolting comments after she was diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer just hours before giving birth to her first child.

On Thursday, Timpf’s Fox News co-star Greg Gutfield told viewers on his late-night comedy show that Timpf and her husband Cameron Friscia had welcomed their baby boy.

He then shared her cancer diagnosis and wished her well, saying, “We love her. We miss Kat, and I’m sure she’s doing great.”

“She’s a tough little bastard,” joked the Gutfield! host.

Thousands of fans commented on the clip to send their love to the author and co-host, but a few bad actors doubted her illness in a disgusting outburst.

One person wrote on X, “I would argue whether stage zero cancer is really cancer at all. That’s not a knock on Kat, it’s a knock on our healthcare system and how they are motivated to generate revenue based on these types of misleading diagnoses.”

Another person agreed saying, “And it could be hormonal changes. I hope she doesn’t rush into extreme surgery.”

But Timpf defended her situation and quickly quieted the noise by blasting their bizarre claims.

“It’s not hormonal changes. It is cancer,” the new mom said.

“I promise I know more about my own case than people online and do not take life-altering medical treatments lightly.”

Fans applauded Timpf for her classy comment and sent their prayers as she embraces motherhood and fights a health battle.

“Praying for you. I’m so happy that it was caught early,” said one fan.

Another wrote, “Your son arrived at the perfect time to protect you from the stress of the diagnosis.”

‘HERO’ HOST

Timpf’s Fox News family has rushed to her aid since her announcement and diagnosis as they share their love and encouragement.

Martha MacCallum, who anchors her own daily spot on Fox News, said she was “sending lots of love and strength” after hearing about Timpf’s growing family.

And Kennedy Montgomery, who is a mainstay on Outnumbered and The Five, described the new mom as “amazing in every way.”

“And you were heroic in labor given the day you’d just had! I love you,” she wrote on X.

In an emotional social media post, Timpf shared her fears when she realized that she would have to battle cancer and navigate motherhood at the same time.

She wrote, “I woke up more than a week past due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out.

“By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out.”

Doctors told the host that she was going to be OK, but planned to perform a double mastectomy.

Still, the new mom has said she isn’t afraid and is embracing her new life.

“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she said.

“I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules – and not just because he might have saved my life.”

Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Now, before you worry, my doctor says it’s Stage 0 and is confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread.  Or, as I’ve explained to the few people I’ve managed to tell about it so far: Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cancer.

Still, it was not a chill day. I mean, to say the least! I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out. By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out. I sat and listened as they told me that the best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible. I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby. Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I’d learn at the time of birth was a son.

The good news? People who work at hospitals make excellent audiences for dark humor — and, as someone whose first book was about the power of jokes to get through traumatic situations, there was really no better place for me to be. Just minutes after my boy was born, I was talking with the nurses about what a birth announcement in my situation might look like.

Should I go with “Mom and baby are doing well, except maybe for mom’s cancer, and then maybe the baby after breastfeeding is stunted by her double mastectomy,” and then shut off my phone for a week?

Anyway! These next three months of maternity leave are going to look a lot different than I’d anticipated, and I’m still getting used to my new reality. Still, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer) I’m learning to celebrate everything I can. I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom. I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.

Thank you all for your support, laughter, and love as I embrace this wildly unexpected chapter. Here’s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.
