Is Meghan Markle Still Friends With Ellen DeGeneres?

British royal family news divulges that Meghan Markle is accused of ghosting individuals when they are no longer useful to her. Just ask Piers Morgan. But one person she was thick as thieves with was Ellen DeGeneres. As the story goes, these two met at a dog rescue shelter where DeGeneres convinced Meghan to adopt a dog. At least that’s what Meghan said. Ellen didn’t remember it that way.

No harm no foul though, as eventually Meghan and DeGeneres officially met, and Ellen even met Archie saying “I fed Archie, I held Archie. … He weighs 15 pounds, which, the exchange rate, I believe, is 17 dollars here.”

Royal Family News: Are Ellen and Meghan Friends?

DeGeneres told her audience that Archie took after his father, Prince Harry and tweeted that Harry and Meghan are “the most down-to-earth, compassionate people.”

“Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.” Imagine.

One need look no further than DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi’s 2023 vow renewal ceremony where Harry and Meghan were photographed to know that the women are not estranged.

The two women remained friends after the Sussexes moved stateside, and in 2023, word got out that they had attended the wedding with a source telling Page Six that Meghan and DeGeneres are good friends.

Royal Family News: Meghan Attended Ellen’s Marriage

According to The List, Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres “remain close friends to this day. Aside from the former “Suits” star attending DeGeneres’ vow renewal ceremony, the talk show host notably entrusted Meghan with one of her beloved chickens.”

In case you missed it, this January DeGeneres shared on Instagram that Sinkie her chicken had a leg injury and wasn’t healing because her peers weren’t being very considerate. “Our chickens were still picking on her so she had to be re-homed” the comedian wrote. “Luckily our friends Harry and Meghan’s coop had room for one more.”

After Sinkie was rehomed, Meghan advertised on Instagram the message she sent to Ellen saying that all was well.

Tell us royal fans, do you think that this display of loyalty reveals that Meghan the Duchess of Sussex can be a true blue friend when she wants to be?
