Prince George, second in line for the throne, is raising his family in their own way, with tension within the family about how this development could shape up his mother, Princess Katherine.
After an argument with Prince William over where Prince George should go to secondary school, both William and his brother Prince Harry attended Eden College, a break from the older generation’s tradition of attending the Scottish boarding school Gordonstown.
Princess Katherine is heartbroken about the move, as she was bullied at her first boarding school and wants George to attend Marboro College.
King Charles III was proud of his child’s performance during the coronation and even suggested that the new monarch wanted the princess to take on more royal tasks. However, they have different views on the monarchy and its operation in 2023.
George will have to be separated from the rest of his royal family during travel plans next year, as a royal band takes force. The rule that limits the Royals can travel together to the same place will come into effect when the young prince turns 12 in July 2025.
It is unclear whether Prince George will fly in a separate plane to William the Prince of Wales and his younger siblings, Charlotte and Louie, or if William will fly on his own while George travels with his mother and siblings.
