Carley Shimkus was ‘simply amazed’ by heartwarming surprise gift from co-host Dana Perino

FOX News host Carley Shimkus was left surprised and grateful after receiving an unexpected gift from her co-host, Dana Perino.

Carley Shimkus, a familiar face on Fox & Friends, recently took to Instagram to express her gratitude for a heartfelt gift from her colleague Dana Perino and Dana’s sister, Angie.

Sharing a special moment with her followers, Carley posted a picture of herself holding a stunning portrait of her baby, Brock, painted by Angie.

In the post, the joyful new mom couldn’t hide her appreciation, writing, “Dana surprised me with a picture of Brock painted by her sister Angie! I am blown away by Dana’s thoughtfulness and Angie’s talent. Look at how good this painting is!”

The thoughtful gesture left Carley touched, highlighting both Dana’s kindness and Angie’s artistic skill. The post quickly drew attention from fans, who celebrated the sweet moment and praised the beautiful painting.

Carley Shimkus couldn’t hide her joy after receiving a heartfelt surprise, sharing on Instagram, “I am smiling from ear to ear over this sweet gesture. Thank you both so much!”

The gift, a beautifully detailed painting by Dana Perino’s sister, Angie, captures a precious moment of Carley’s baby, Brock. In the artwork, Brock is seen crawling on a bed in his pajamas, his big blue eyes gazing at the viewer.

The stunning piece left fans in awe, with one commenting, “Seems like you have some great coworkers!” Another added:

“Amazing! What a thoughtful gift and a beautiful painting for a keepsake. Angie is very talented.” A third person wrote, “That is beautiful, looks just like Brock.“

Angie was thrilled by Carley’s reaction, responding, “Yay, so glad you like it!” Dana also chimed in with a heartfelt message, “Brock is our big blue-eyed boy! We love him!”

Dana has openly shared her admiration for Brock since he became part of the Fox & Friends family on February 3.

She frequently gushes over him on social media and even awarded Carley the “best mama award” in the comments of a sweet photo of Carley and her son, writing, “He’s wonderful.”

The co-host’s affectionate remarks appear on many of Carley’s posts, often calling Brock a “miracle baby.”

Last month, Carley shared another special milestone, revealing that Brock was baptized on August 20. In her heartfelt caption, she wrote, “The most special day. Thank you, Lord, for this baby boy who we love so much.”
