Patrick Jr and Brittany Mahomes (née Matthews) have been together since high school. The three-time Super Bowl champion is well-known as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, while his wife is a former soccer player and an entrepreneur.

Brittany is also a “proud” mother, who recently posted a picture of a stockpile of breast milk via one of her Instagram stories and wrote:

“Something I’m very proud of 😍”

The couple shares three children – two daughters and a son. They welcomed their firstborn, four-year-old Sterling Skye Mahomes, in February 2021. At the same time, their second child, two-year-old Patrick III, was born in November 2022. More than two years later, Brittany gave birth to her third child, Golden, with Patrick Mahomes Jr, in January 2025.

The Chiefs QB met his future in 2012 as a high school teen. They even went to their school prom together the following year, which the QB posted on his Instagram. The couple has stayed together despite going to different colleges and pursuing their respective careers in sports.

Patrick Jr proposed to Brittany Mahomes in September 2020 and, later that month, posted a picture of her holding a sonogram. After their first daughter was born, the couple also shared the news with their followers, with Brittany posting a photo and writing:

“Sterling Skye Mahomes👸🏼 2/20/21 6lbs 11oz💕”

Brittany shared pictures with Patrick Jr and Sterling in June 2021, marking their daughter’s social media debut:

“Hi, my name is Sterling,” the post caption read.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes tied the knot in March 2022 and in May, announced that they were expecting their second child. In November, the couple welcomed their only son, Patrick III, and announced it via Instagram:

“Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III 🤴🏽11/28/22 7lbs 8oz 🤍”

Between 2020 and 2024, Patrick won three Super Bowl championship rings. At the same time, Brittany Mahomes became the founding co-owner of Kansas City Current, a National Women’s Soccer League team, in 2021.

The couple announced the news of Brittany’s third pregnancy in July 2024 by writing, “Round three, here we come,” on Instagram. On January 12, 2025, they shared the news of their second daughter’s birth, captioning the post:

“•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨”

While Brittany and Patrick Jr’s first two children have made Instagram debuts, the entrepreneur has yet to reveal Golden’s face. Recently, she took to her Instagram stories to reveal that the couple won’t be sharing her face “for a while.”

The Kansas City Current co-owner was at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Brittany donned an all-white outfit with custom-made white cargo pants featuring the Chiefs’ name. At one of the biggest sporting events of the year, the former soccer player was also snapped with two of her older kids, Sterling and Patrick III.

The finale of the NFL 2024 season ended with disappointment for the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City-based teams faced a “22-40” defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. In a separate incident later that night, the Chiefs’ quarterback’s father, Pat Mahomes Sr was also filmed engaging in a verbal spat with John Rocker.
