A major legal dispute is brewing over the validity of Prince Harry’s US visa, and Trump is getting involved!

A major legal dispute is unfolding over the validity of Prince Harry’s U.S. visa, a controversy that has now moved from the courtroom to the political arena, gaining traction across the nation.

The controversy intensified after former U.S. President Donald Trump made repeated statements during his election campaign, promising that if re-elected, he would show no leniency regarding Prince Harry’s visa status.

At the center of the dispute is a lawsuit filed by the Heritage Foundation, which has called for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to reveal Prince Harry’s visa records. The foundation’s aim is to investigate whether the prince was granted residency under any special exemptions.

The case is currently being heard in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, where Judge Carl J. Nichols will preside over a crucial hearing on February 5. This session will determine whether the DHS will be required to release Prince Harry’s visa records.

Should the court rule in favor of the Heritage Foundation, it could raise significant questions about Prince Harry’s future in the United States.

Before returning to office, Trump had been vocal about his stance on Prince Harry. In an interview with *The Express*, he strongly stated:

“I will not help Harry. He betrayed Queen Elizabeth, and that is unforgivable. If this matter comes under my authority, he will have to face the consequences.”

With Trump back in power, the DHS is now under his administration, making the upcoming court session even more critical.

Prince Harry, who is involved with the Invictus Games Foundation, Sentebale, and serves as Chief Impact Officer for BetterUp Inc., a mental health and personal development company, could face serious career setbacks if his visa is revoked. Losing his right to stay in the U.S. would have significant consequences for his future.

Naim Sakhia, a prominent Dallas-based immigration attorney and legal counsel for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, shared his expertise with *The News International*. He remarked, “U.S. immigration laws apply equally to everyone, regardless of royal status. If Prince Harry received a visa under an illegal exemption, it would be a serious violation of U.S. law, potentially leading to his deportation.”

Sakhia further explained that the hearing is primarily concerned with whether Harry’s visa records should be made public. However, this does not clear Harry from potential consequences if it’s found that he provided false information or omitted details, such as drug use, on his application.

The controversy stems from Harry’s past admission in his memoir *Spare* and various interviews, where he confessed to using drugs. Under U.S. immigration law, failing to disclose drug use or providing false information on a visa application can result in the revocation of the visa and possible deportation.

The DHS has argued that the Heritage Foundation lacks sufficient evidence to support claims of illegal actions by the government and has refused to release Harry’s visa details, citing privacy concerns. However, the Heritage Foundation maintains that the public has a right to know if the prince received any special treatment during his visa process.

Meanwhile, back in the U.K., former Home Secretary Suella Braverman has called on Trump to disclose Prince Harry’s visa records.

“The American people deserve to know what happened here. Prince Harry is just another citizen who entered the U.S., and we need to determine whether he violated immigration laws. If he did, those responsible should be held accountable,” Braverman stated in a video message directed at Trump.

The February 5th, 2025, court hearing will decide whether the DHS must release Prince Harry’s visa records. If the ruling goes in favor of the Heritage Foundation, the prince could face serious legal consequences, which could disrupt his life in the U.S. with wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
