Classes are back in session at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). Though just like in XO, Kitty Season 1, there was very little studying — and instead far more romancing — among Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart) and her friends.
This season of the To All The Boys spin-off began with Kitty discovering that she’s roommates with her crush Yuri (Gia Kim) — but also with Yuri’s girlfriend Juliana (Regan Aliyah). And while Kitty tries to move on by going on dates with new girl Praveena (Sasha Bhasin), the matchmaker’s ex-boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) is struggling to get over their relationship. To make things more complicated, Kitty’s friendship with KISS’s It Boy Min-ho (Sang Heon Lee) also takes a turn. Though she turned him down at the end of Season 1, over the course of XO, Kitty Season 2 Kitty realizes she’s fallen for Min-ho. And of course it happens when he’s now dating someone else — Stella (Audrey Huynh), a transfer student with a secret agenda. All this to say: Goodbye love triangles, hello love hexagons.
Netflix has not announced yet renewed XO, Kitty for a third season, but we’re expecting it to happen. Season 2 has garnered much attention since it premiered on Jan. 16, 2025, debuting at No. 2. on Netflix’s English TV list with 14.2 million views, according to the streamer. And let’s be honest, the cliffhanger at the end of Season 2 is too major for the story to end now.
TV Guide will share everything we learn about XO, Kitty Season 3 here.

XO, Kitty Season 3 release date
XO, Kitty has not been renewed for a third season. But if it’s renewed, we’re expecting a roughly an 18-month-to-two-year wait before Season 3 launches based on the period in between the first two seasons.
XO, Kitty Season 2 ending
By the end of XO, Kitty Season 2’s finale, “Sealed With a Kiss,” the major conflict is resolved. At the Moon’s Young Talent showcase, Stella’s plans for taking down the Moon family are thwarted. She was only getting close to Min-ho for the purpose of ruining his dad (Philippe Lee), who had humiliated her on national TV years ago. Needless to say, Min-ho and Stella’s relationship ends after she’s exposed. “I liked you, for real,” Stella admits in their last exchange. “Only, I could tell your heart was never fully in it anyways.”
That sets the stage for a new beginning for Min-ho and Kitty. At this point, Kitty knows she has feelings for him and appears to be ready to confess in the final scene of XO, Kitty Season 2. But Min-ho tells her he’s swearing off all relationships after being burned by Stella. “I think I was better off as a playboy,” he says. That makes Kitty hesitate about confessing. Besides, Min-ho is about to leave KISS to join his brother Joon Ho (Peniel Shin) on his summer tour.
“Maybe it’s not our time. Not yet,” Kitty’s inner voice says in the finale’s last moments. “Or maybe…” She stops Min-ho and asks to join on the summer tour. So, unlike the episode title suggests, their story was not “sealed with a kiss.” But at least the Season 2 ending primes the audience for a full-on love story between Kitty and Min-ho in the next season — exactly why we need XO, Kitty to be renewed ASAP.
