Choi Min-young’s Season 2 Finale Scene Leaves ‘XO, Kitty’ Cast in TOTAL SHOCK

Choi Min-young, widely popular now for his role as Dae in the Netflix original XO, Kitty, surely left viewers with an LSS (Last Song Syndrome) with his performance of ‘Seven’ by BTS member Jungkook.

In the finale of XO, Kitty Season 2, Dae participates in a talent competition with the hope of winning a contract deal from an entertainment company and helping his injured father. Making things even more nerve-wracking for Dae, his backup dancers were sabotaged. Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, steps in to help, convincing the gang to act as the dancers and save the performance.

In a video on Netflix’s TikTok account, the cast of XO, Kitty — Anna Cathcart, Sang Heon Lee, Gia Kim, Anthony Keyvan, Regan Aliyah, and Min-young himself — reacted to this very scene.

“It’s so good. That’s real,” the cast said in unison, praising Min-young’s performance.

“Min-young won a competitive reality singing show in Korea,” his co-star, Anthony added, referring to the 2020 DIMF Musical Star competition, where Min-young claimed the grand prize.

Regan, who is known as Juliana in the series, also revealed that the Korean actor is currently starring in a musical.

“He’s just all humble and shy about it, but he shouldn’t be,” said Anna, who plays Min-young’s former love interest.

Meanwhile, Min-young himself shared what his favorite part of the scene was. “This is my favorite part, like when we were gathering up. It gave me chills,” he shared.

XO, Kitty fan-favorite actor Sang Heon Lee also shared his thoughts on the dance scene. “It was my first time seeing you guys perform ever. I was like, being a fan, like, ‘Yo, this is sick!’” Heon Lee gushed.

Aside from Min-young’s performance, the cast also shared their thoughts on another member’s standout moment.

“Okay, so I’m not a dancer, but everyone else here has some level of knowledge when it comes to dance, especially Joshua Lee,” Anthony shared. “In this scene he did an actual backflip.”

“It was not a body double. It was him every single time” Regan added.

Joshua, who played Jin, a new addition in the second season, is dubbed as both a rival and a love interest for Kitty’s best friend, Q.

The complete eight episodes of XO, Kitty Season 2 are now available for streaming on Netflix.

In this season, Kitty returns to the fictional Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) while navigating her journey of self-discovery, uncovering family history, and grappling with unexpected feelings for someone she knows.
