Boxing fans are furious over Jake Paul’s latest comments about his controversial fight with Mike Tyson.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson clashed in one of the most controversial sporting events in modern history in November. Just months after Tyson suffered a medical emergency that postponed their first fight booking, Paul defeated Tyson by unanimous decision in a largely uneventful bout.
After a fast start from Tyson got fans excited, he slowed down dramatically as the fight went on. Paul was able to outpoint the 58-year-old Tyson to win his fifth consecutive fight.
After months of blowback from fans leading up to the event, Tyson made the walk against Paul in front of a packed house at AT&T Stadium in Texas. During his walkout, fans quickly noticed Tyson appeared to stumble on his way to the ring, amplifying concerns for his health.
Months removed from the fight, Paul made a stunning claim about Tyson’s health leading into fight week.

Jake Paul claims Mike Tyson suffered from Parkinson’s leading into boxing fight
During a recent live stream with Adin Ross, Paul claimed Tyson masked a Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis before their boxing match.
“Ayahuasca’s really good for your brain as well. Same with Toad, Toad is what Parkinson’s… oh sorry, Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could come back and fight,” Paul slipped.
After Paul’s admission, it didn’t take long for boxing fans to rip him apart on social media.
“Shameless bully piece of s—! He hasn’t changed a bit! Still a scumbag,” one boxing fan wrote in an X post.
“So Jake Paul fought a senior citizen with Parkinson’s,” another said.
“So you fought an old man with Parkinson’s????”
“Come on bro this is shameful.”
“Fight was Staged lol.”
“No f—– way.”
“What a piece of vile s—.”
“How he has gotten away with this is honestly concerning.”
Paul defended his self-described ‘flat performance’ by admitting he took it easy on Tyson as the fight went on. This explains the significant pace slowing after Round 1, after which Tyson appeared gassed and gasping for breath.
Parkinson’s Disease, as of this writing, is an incurable neurological disease, and there’s no direct evidence of Tyson having the condition. Just months before his fight with Paul, Tyson suffered from stomach ulcers during a flight, which forced him to withdraw from the bout.

Jake Paul makes head-scratching claims about Mike Tyson showdown
Paul and Tyson reunited at the U.S. Presidential Inauguration last month in what ended up being a viral moment on social media. As of this writing, Paul’s next boxing opponent hasn’t been announced, despite recently nearing a showdown with superstar Canelo Alvarez.
Leading up to the Tyson fight, a medical expert claimed Tyson would suffer ‘life-changing consequences’ regardless of the bout’s result. Tyson has since claimed he feared getting sued by Paul and his team if he withdrew from the fight again due to his concerning health.
In his post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Tyson didn’t rule out another potential return to the ring after the Paul fight. But if Paul’s claims are substantiated, Tyson’s hopes won’t spring eternal.
