Prince William was all smiles as he met pop superstar Taylor Swift following her Eras Tour concert after the singer’s snub to Meghan Markle.
Meghan and Harry were dropped by Spotify
Taylor Swift was seen hobnobbing with Prince William at her Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium, after snubbing a previous request to collaborate with Meghan Markle.
The future king cut some vigorous moves at the pop star’s Friday night show before enjoying a backstage encounter with the Blonde singer. Also present were his elder children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who posed for a joyful selfie with Taylor, alongside Travis Kelce, her boyfriend.
This pleasant interaction contrasts sharply with the refusal Meghan received when she sought to invite Taylor onto her Archetypes podcast with a “personal letter”.
Meghan reportedly approached Taylor last year in hopes of featuring her on the Archetypes podcast. The Telegraph revealed that Meghan wrote a “personal letter” to Taylor, “but the singer declined, through a representative.”

Archetypes, which lasted for one season on Spotify, saw Meghan take charge of 12 episodes, interviewing a range of high-profile guests like Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, and Jameela Jamil, reports the Mirror.
Since being dropped from Spotify, the Duchess of Sussexs show became mired in controversy as news broke that both Meghan and Prince Harry had been ousted from the platform. A high-ranking Spotify executive allegedly lambasted the Royal duo, branding them “f****** grifters”.
Meghan Markle has partnered with Lemonada Media and is preparing to launch a new podcast series next year, following the successful release of her first series ‘Archetypes’.
Earlier this year, Meghan expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.”
She added: “Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works. I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family.”
