An insider told the New York Post that Grifter and Ginger Judas discovered that the good life in America is not “what they thought it would be.”
Thus the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “have reportedly splurged on one of 300 soon-to-be-constructed residences at the 722-acre CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club — a plush development about 81 miles south of Lisbon. The pair allegedly forked over more than $4.7 million on the purchase.”

But why would the Markles chose Portugal of all places as a next destination? Having a timeshare salesman for a relative is one reason. And, the outlet theorizes that “Portugal’s climate is similar to that of Montecito, Calif., which could also have played a part in the appeal.”
But according to Harrold, while the Markles have “no obvious reason for choosing Portugal as a location to live, but let’s not forget that it’s not unusual for royals to set up overseas.”

Then again, maybe Meghan wants to grow some strawberries on the land to put in her American Riviera Orchard (say that five times fast) jam.
Earlier this year Meghan debuted some jam jars and crusty lemon baskets, sent to her celeb friends like serial bully Chrissy Teigan and polo stud Nachos Figueras. The jampreneur has failed to make good on her promise to actually sell jam, which maybe is not the point.
