“You’ve written stuff that can’t be retracted”: Royal Expert Says Prince Harry’s Past Actions Will Haunt Him After Kate Middleton’s Cancer Diagnosis

Prince Harry regrets his previous comments about his estranged family in the wake of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.

After repeated controversial remarks on the Royal Family, Prince Harry is deemed to be in a tough spot following Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis. Openly criticizing the Princess of Wales in his mémoire Spare, the 39-year-old Duke of Sussex is now said to have found himself in a “painful place”.

Royal expert Tessa Dunlop has revealed that Prince Harry now regrets making notorious revelations about his estranged family in his mémoire. Considering Meghan Markle and the Prince’s habit of deliberately mocking the monarchy, they now appear to be in a difficult spot, where they can’t even release a statement regarding Kate Middleton and King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, without looking opportunistic.

Prince Harry is in a Tough Spot After Kate Middleton’s Cancer Diagnosis

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been known for their notorious revelations and tell-all interviews about the British Royal Family. Over the years, the duo have repeatedly criticized the monarchy, wherein the Duke of Sussex even released his infamous mémoire Spare that threw his family under the bus. But now in the wake of Kate Middleton and King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, the 39-year-old seems to find himself in a tough spot.

According to Royal Expert Tessa Dunlop, who spoke with US Weekly, the Prince has unfortunately found himself in a “painful place” after Kate Middleton’s cancer announcement. Regretting each of his comments in retrospect, and probably cursing himself for mocking his estranged family in his mémoire, the Duke of Sussex is said to feel bad for his past actions.

When you do discover that your sister-in-law has cancer and you’ve written stuff that can’t be retracted, that’s quite a painful place to be in. I’m not saying it isn’t.”

Tessa Dunlop implied during her exclusive interview that Prince Harry must feel bad for his previous comments about his sister-in-law, especially now that she has been diagnosed with cancer and battling the ailment. But considering the situation they have created over the past few years, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can’t be more sorry for their notorious remarks.

Royal Expert Claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Must Rethink Their Steps

Speaking with US Weekly, Royal Expert Tessa Dunlop claimed that while Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are reconsidering their previous comments, the couple is also having to think through their next step. According to Dunlop, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are trying to tread lightly about what they put out in the public eye.

They deliberately criticize the monarchy [and then offer] themselves as an alternative to monarchy. So then when the monarchy is in trouble, we do kind of make a comparison. Can Harry and Meghan really hold themselves off as the caring example now? They’re certainly going to have to be careful of their timing with any releases so that it doesn’t look opportunistic.”

The Royal Expert claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will have to be very careful about what they speak next. Additionally, Tessa Dunlop claimed that despite the previous feuds and controversial remarks, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have to lay low for a while with their revelations about the Royal Family especially in the wake of Kate Middleton and King Charles‘ cancer diagnosis.

The big C – it’s kind of untouchable. When that comes creeping in the door, that just reframes everything.

Kate Middleton‘s announcement about her cancer diagnosis came on March 22, following her hospitalization in January for her abdominal surgery. Meanwhile, King Charles has also been undergoing his cancer treatment.
